A mere day after finding a four-leaf clover, I finally tried the V&T Cafe (between Food Lion and Bulls Steakhouse). While I had heard about their dependably good food and amazing ice cream treats, I was unprepared for the charming and intimate interior. Owned for seven years by the personable Lily, originally from Shanghai, this small cafe oozes cozy and relaxed ambiance. It's the kind of place I am always eager to return to--especially with a special friend or good book, over lunch and/or dessert and coffee.
There are a wide range of meal choices: salads, wraps, deli sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, and dinner entrees like grilled catfish, chicken stir fry, pork chops, etc... Do not be misled by the modest exterior. Inside awaits good food (if you can judge by the quality of our food today and the recommendations of several friends) as well as a clean and lovely interior with charm and great servers. Parking is close-in and abundant.
Open daily.....I shall return. Soon.
